Take a Break

Take a Break

How do you take a break?

Every year, I block off retreat and study time. This annual time is an opportunity for me to step back from my everyday ‘To Do’ list, unplug, and reconnect with the essence of why I do what I do.

Retreat time is essential to me. But taking time out is important every day. Because every day adds up, to create your life.

One of my favourite ways to switch things up is to put on some great music and jump around. This is just one of the suggestions from this poster below, from fullcupthirstyspirit.com.

If you are at a desk all day, set a (gentle) alarm to remind you to pause, check in with yourself and breathe.

Make a date with yourself and schedule it into your calendar.
